First, make sure your computer is appropriately set up to enable LifeGuide to run. Check that you have the following four specification requirements:

Users are advised to regularly update their version of the authoring tool to make the most of new features and to ensure that interventions run smoothly with any updates made on the LifeGuide server. 
** New users with no previous experience of using the LifeGuide authoring tool are advised to download the workshop version of the tool and run through the accompanying tutorial.
** The beta version of the authoring tool should only be used if you have been specifically advised by a member of the LifeGuide team to do so.
